18.09.2012 (Hvino News) Foreign ministers of Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria, Latvia and the Czech Republic visited Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili at his country house and vineyard in Kvareli (Kakheti Region, Eastern Georgia). The ministers took part in grape harvesting.

Saakashvili described the Georgian wine-making traditions and told about popularity of Georgian wine abroad. The ministers' visit to Georgia ends today.

Foreign officials' participation in the rtveli (vintage) at President's vineyard is becoming a new Georgian tradition. Recently foreign ministers of Sweden, Poland and Fiji did some grape cutting at Saakashvili's vineyard (read more and watch video here), followed by US senators who stomped grapes (read more and watch video here).
