23.03.2016 (Hvino News). Air Astana, the national airline of Kazakhstan, plans to include Georgian wines in onboard passenger service. This campaign will be part of the Georgian Wine Week underway in VIP hall recently opened in Astana International Airport.
The Georgian Wine Week is being held from March 18 through March 23 by the initiative and efforts of the Georgian Embassy in Kazakhstan and with support of Air Astana. Exposition on Georgian wines and viticulture was also held at the event. The Georgian Wine Week in Astana aims at popularizing the Georgian culture, history, traditions and tourism potential and upgrading the perception of products of Georgian indication.
In 2015 Air Astana launched Astana-Tbilisi service.
