Moscow hopes for all best conditions for the trade and economic relations between Russia and Georgia when Georgian wine and "Borjomi" return to Russia, said Lukashevich. "Moreover, we have some other proposals to the "Borjomi" - new offers, including from major Russian companies. This is not bad when the economy is ahead of politics", he added.
Talks on technical issues related to the return of Georgian wine to the Russian market with Rospotrebnadzor will be held in Moscow in January 2013, said the Minister of Agriculture David Kirvalidze. He said this summarizing the outcome of a meeting of representatives of the Ministry with the management of the wine and other alcoholic beverages enterprises.
At the meeting, also attended by Special Envoy for Relations with Russia Zurab Abashidze, it was decided that the Georgian delegation would include representatives of government, National Wine Agency and the winemakers' association.
