Deputy minister of agriculture responded to Russia's statement

10.10.2013 (Hvino News) Deputy minister of agriculture David Shervashidze responded to statement of Russia's State Sanitary Service, who rejected 28 Georgian wines and spirits (for more information and list of producers, see here).

"I want to believe that sales of Georgian products on Russian market will have no problems", Shervashidze said. "In this particular case, we will thoroughly study the issue and then make statements accordingly", he added.

Jimi Chkhaidze, founder of Askaneli Brothers - one of the companies mentioned in Russian statement -  declared that Russian agency told him that "it was old information and now there is no problem with the company".
